Layer 7 Technologies, SOA and cloud security company, on Wednesday announced record revenue performance for 2009, marking the company’s fourth consecutive year of double or triple digit growth.

Layer 7 closed 2009 with double digit growth over 2008, four consecutive quarters of sequential quarterly growth, 35 percent growth in customers across six continents and new VAR partner additions in North America, Latin America, Asia-Pacific, Europe, Middle East and Africa.

• Strong Customer Growth—Acquired more new customers in 2009 than during any previous year: new wins spanned a variety of industries and five continents. Key wins include: InfoGroup, Los Angeles Superior Courts, MedicAlert, Government of Singapore, Telstra, Rogers Communications, Defense Information Systems Agency, Federal Aviation Administration, Swiss SkyGuide and Helsana Insurance.
• Expansion of Global Channel: Added new reseller and distribution partners across much of Europe and key regions in Latin America, Asia-Pacific and Middle East. • New Product Innovation: Introduced the first Cloud SOA Gateway for Amazon EC2. Added the first service management platform that spans enterprise and cloud-based service deployments. Launched the industry’s first Oracle Service Bus Appliance for extending the Oracle service bus into the DMZ.
